Our award winning educational programme brings the National Curriculum to life in ways that you might not expect.
Through the story of chocolate we cover subjects related to history, science, and geography. The local history of York is a strong feature in our classes, as is the practical science of chocolate creation. Our class also explores the story of chocolates’ discovery in the Americas and its eventual journey to England.
As accredited Quality Badge holders and winners of the Sandford Award, we are highly qualified in delivering educational school trips that follow the curriculum; inspiring and entertaining children through the story of chocolate. To find out more about our deliciously different approach to learning outside of the classroom, contact our friendly team today by emailing email@example.com.
“York’s Chocolate Story is a hugely popular destination for schools for good reason. Learners of all ages enjoy fully interactive and highly engaging tours and workshops which bring the history of this irresistible treat to life – as well as the starring role that York has played in it. The team is well-practised at managing all aspects of a learning visit: from initial enquiry to downloadable resources and trails, and chocolate-making demonstrations to opportunities for participants to make their own edible creations. A visit to York’s Chocolate Story is a feast for the mind as well as the tastebuds.”
