Join our team as a Chocolatier.

At York’s Chocolate Story guests can discover the stories behind the greatest names in chocolate, unwrap the secrets of chocolate making and even learn the art of the chocolatier for themselves. Over three floors of interactive exploration, visitors journey through the city where chocolate made history.

We are pleased to announce this exciting opportunity to assist our Head Chocolatier in: delivering informative, high quality chocolate demonstrations which excite and entertain our attractions guests, running chocolate making masterclasses, and producing a wide variety of products for our busy gift shop.

You will have a catering background, strong knowledge of food hygiene procedures and a desire to work with chocolate. An excellent communicator, you will have the ability to engage an audience and convey information in an entertaining yet professional manner.

Experience in patisserie, chocolate making or cake decoration is also essential.

Position: Permanent

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Hours: 32 hours per week. As we are a tourist attraction, weekend work will be included.
